Steak spices de luxe

Roasts

Remove meat from packaging, wiping away any blood.
Sprinkle generously with the spices.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 24 hours.
Cook meat.
* If you own a slow cooking oven,
follow the recommendations for cooking the meat.

Steaks and grills

Cook the meat on the grill.
Just before the meat is done, sprinkle both side of the meat generously with spices to enhance the flavour.

Chef's tip

Grind spices in a mortar before using to optimize the flavour of all ingredients… and to satisfy your taste buds.

Seasoning rub half-salt

Poultry

1. Season the poultry portions generously. Put in the oven and serve. These spices will give flavor and an appetizing color.

2. Grill the poultry portions on the grill. Before the end of cooking, sprinkle generously with spices on both sides of the portions. Brush with melted butter and serve.

Fish and sea food

1. Lightly grill or bake the fish fillets. Just before ready, baste with lemon juice and sprinkle with spices.

Seasoned breadcrumbs

Mix La Brigade spices with your breadcrumbs for breading chops, meatballs, fried chicken, fish, etc.

Other uses

Garlic butter, soup and eggs.

Brochettes

Cut the meat into cubes.
Season generously with spices.
Mix the condiments of your choice; oil, lemon juice, etc.
Allow to marinate for 24 hours in refrigerator.
Baste with the marinade while cooking.

Burgers

Season the ground meat. Form into patties and keep refrigerated until ready to cook.

Rice

Add the rice, spices and butter to boiling water. Cover and let simmer. remove from the heat and let rest.

Vegetables and roots

1. Fry the potatoes or vegetables.
Sprinkle generously with spices and serve.

2. Roast the potatoes or vegetables, sprinkle with the spices several minutes before they have finished cooking.

3. Boil/steam the potatoes or vegetables. Remove from the water and sprinkle lightly with spices and serve with chopped parsley.

Other uses

Seasoned mayonnaise, shellfish, stewed dishes and shepherd’s pie.

Seasoning The sweet kiss

Iced beverage

Add 1 tsp of Sweet Kiss Seasoning per serving of prepared smoothie and sprinkle lightly on top.

Apple/fruit pie

When preparing the pies, sprinkle generously over the fruit/apples and seal with your pie shell. If needed, sprinkle lightly over the crust after applying the gold.

Soup and cream

Recipe by Marie-Josée. Cantaloupe, spaghetti squash, white onion, chicken broth, Sweet Kiss seasoning to taste and pass through a blender. Served hot or cold.

Cookies, cake and muffins

Add 1 tablespoon per cup of flour, mix well with other ingredients, bake according to your recipe.

Mulled wine

For small cold hearts, add ½ tsp of Sweet Kiss per 100 ml of mulled wine, stir gently and let steep for a few minutes before enjoying. For cinnamon lovers, double the portion of Sweet Kiss.

Coffee, latte and cappuccino

Prepare the coffee, froth the milk, add Sweet Kiss and add the generous Sweet Kiss foam to the hot beverage!
